A free electronic messaging system sending transaction notifications to your smartphone.

inContact offers you the ability to:

Identify any unauthorised transactions on your accounts and report fraud immediately.
Receive messages for transactions on accounts that belong to you only.
Set your desired amount from as little as 1 cent and get notifications on the FNB App of money going in and out of your account.
Manage the funds in your accounts.
Receive messages with details of your multiple debits that are processed overnight, e.g. debit orders, stop orders and scheduled payments.
Customise the notifications received. You can:
- Choose when you want to receive your messages - during the day (7am - 8pm) or 24 hours a day
- Choose to be notified of any transactions that exceed an amount specified by you
- Choose how to receive notifications - via SMS, email or both
- Choose which accounts you want to link to inContact

inContact will not send messages for transactions on accounts you access via a link or mandate. You can register for this service at any FNB branch.

Decline inContact messages are an innovative and convenient method of advising customers of why their transactions have been declined. These messages are identical to normal inContact notifications and this service is also free.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance is a free service for Cheque Account clients with an FNB Petrol Card, or comes at a nominal fee for those who don't have the Petrol Card. It is only available to Cheque Account clients living and travelling in South Africa.

In the event of a roadside emergency, we will provide the following services to you

Flat tyre: Have a spare tyre put onto your vehicle.
Flat battery: Assistance to have your vehicle started where possible.
Keys locked in vehicle: A locksmith to open your vehicle and retrieve the keys.
Run out of fuel: We will arrange for 10 litres of fuel to be delivered to you at your vehicle, but the cost of the fuel as well as the delivery will be for your account.
Tow-in: Where the cause of the problem is a mechanical or electrical breakdown or a motor vehicle accident, we will arrange for your vehicle to be towed to the nearest approved dealer or competent repairer.
Courtesy transport: Where your vehicle needs to be towed to a repairer, we will arrange for you and your passengers to be transported to their respective destinations where the breakdown has occurred, outside a radius of 100 km from your normal place of residence.
Hotel accommodation: Where the breakdown has occurred outside a radius of 100 km from your normal place of residence resulting in an overnight delay, we will arrange hotel accommodation for the occupants of the vehicle.
Car rental: Where the breakdown has occurred outside a radius of 100 km from your normal place of residence, resulting in overnight delay, but where the driver would prefer to continue with their journey immediately, we will arrange for a rental car to enable you to reach your destination, subject to qualifying for a rental vehicle in terms of the Car Rental Company's general terms and conditions.
Transmission of urgent messages: We will relay messages of delay or changed arrangements to a nominated family member or business colleague at the driver's request within 30 minutes of the call.
Vehicle recovery: Where the problem has occurred outside a radius of 100 km from your normal place of residence, requiring that you leave your vehicle for repair, we will arrange for the collection of the vehicle and will return it to your normal place of residence after the repair has been done.
Storage: Should the driver require it, we will arrange for the safe storage of the vehicle.

Repatriation of vehicle : Up to R400 per incident
Maximum Benefit Payable per vehicle: R7 500 per annum

Debit order Disputes

If you have a debit order that you know you did not sign up for, you can dispute it in a few easy steps. You have the power to reverse and/or stop unauthorised debit orders for amounts of R200 or less anytime, anywhere via the FNB Banking App, Cellphone Banking or Online Banking. You will receive immediate reversal on an unauthorised debit order if you dispute it within 40 days of the transaction.

If you have an unauthorised debit order for an amount greater than R200 and would like to dispute it, you can call 087 575 9404 or visit your nearest branch for assistance.

Salary Switching
It's easy to get your salary paid into your Islamic Private Wealth account. Having a minimum monthly deposit of R60 000 into your Islamic Private Wealth Account also gets you straight onto reward level 1 with eBucks Rewards.

All you need to do to have your salary paid into your account is this:
