You need to be registered for Online Banking to activate Balance Alert.

Register for Online Banking


  1. Go to www.fnb.co.za
  2. Select 'Register'.
  3. Select the 'I have a card and PIN' option for personal Online Banking registrations.
  4. Enter your card, PIN and captcha code.
  5. Select 'Continue'.
  6. Verify your personal details and set up your user ID and password to access your profile online. Note the password rules.
  7. Select 'Register'.
  8. A Thank You screen will display your Online Banking registration details. Select 'Continue' to login to your Online Banking profile.
  9. Login to Online Banking, select 'Online Banking Settings', select 'Banking' and then the Balance Alert 'Change' button to use this convenient service.
