R0 - R250 000 0.50% per annum plus VAT (min R20)
R250 001 - R1 000 000 0.45% per annum plus VAT
R 1 000 001 + 0.35% per annum plus VAT

Transaction fees

  • You need a qualifying FNB transactional account
  • Tax-year contribution limit of R36 000
  • Lifetime contribution limit of R500 000
  • Limits monitored and capped by FNB at a product level
  • All deposits form part of your allowed tax free contributions
  • All deposits will be declined if they exceed contribution limits
  • All returns and dividends are tax free
  • No cash or cheque deposits
  • Any cash withdrawn from the account cannot be replaced
  • You will be responsible for monitoring your tax free contributions across all tax free products that you have, both with the FirstRand Group as well as all other providers
  • All contributions in excess of the limit are liable for a 40% penalty as per SARS regulations
