Auto Advance Card

A pre-paid, interest free fleet card that will help you as a business or consumer to fully integrate your fleet management solutions, without the need for a facility*.

An Auto Advance Card offers:

  • Flexibility: Pay for fuel, oil, general repairs and maintenance**.
  • Safety: Our online authorisation engine checks all transactions in real time to help mitigate fraud.
  • You receive notifications of your account's current and available balance every time your driver transacts.
  • Convenience: Top up the card anytime with an EFT deposit and reduce the need for your drivers to carry cash.
  • Graphical reports per vehicle: With your fuel and maintenance costs at your fingertips, you can manage your daily fuel budget.
  • Easy online account administration: Use Fleet Online Self-Service to cancel lost or stolen cards, order new cards, check your account balance.

*FNB Auto Advance is available to all business owners, no matter where you bank.

**Tolls cannot currently be paid with an Auto Advance Card.

Self-service

The Self-service platform portal lets you manage the administration of your fleet cards and account with ease and in a secure environment.

The platform is secure and requires a user ID and password from the mandated user(s).

With Self-service you can:

  • Order new Auto or Auto Advance cards
  • Report damaged, lost or stolen cards
  • Update driver details per card
  • Set up your own transaction authorisation controls, i.e. number of fill ups per vehicle per day
  • Block/unblock cards from transacting, a convenient fraud prevention and controlled spend tool
  • Enquire on your account balance

 

 

Analytics & reporting

Analytics and reporting access provides you with advanced graphical reports, that are user-friendly, interactive and customisable with various filtering and file export format options available.

Reports include:

  • Operations Reports
  • Maintenance Reports
  • Performance Reports
  • Fleet Risk (exception) Reports. With parameter controls like velocity and tank capacity, risk is mitigated.
  • Usage Reports

The access is secure and requires a User ID and Password of the mandated user(s).

This service is included at no cost for all Auto Advance cardholders.

 

 

e-Tag/SANRAL

e-Tag admin conveniently managed.

  • We manage the relationship with SANRAL on your behalf
  • We provide you with consolidated and vehicle-specific reporting on e-toll transactions
  • We pay SANRAL on your behalf and bill you monthly

 

 

FNB Homebase Solution

This digital solution captures homebase off-road fuel transactions for fuel stored on your premises (for internal use) through an existing FNB Fleet Auto Card. This single reporting view allows for the effective monitoring of your fuel usage and risk.

Savings

  • Effective fraud control - the solution will assist in mitigating fraud through effective fuel reporting
  • Less administration and minimal input errors in recording the off-road fuel fill-ups

The solution package includes

  • Use of one card for on- and off-road transactions
  • Consolidated, single reporting view of on- and off-road fuel transactions available via our FNB Fleet Online Analytics & Reporting platform
  • The off-road fuel transaction at the pump is recorded as a non-financial transaction and does not reduce your credit facility
  • FNB stand-alone point-of-sale (POS) device
  • FNB POS device technical support provided by FNB Merchant Services
