Send money using Online Banking

To send money you need to be registered for Online Banking.

Method 1:

To send money using FNB Online Banking (once off):

Step 1 - Log into Online Banking

Step 2 - Select the 'Send Money' tab

Step 3 - Select 'Once-Off Payment'

Step 4 - Enter the cellphone number of the recipient

Step 5 - Enter the amount you would like to send

Step 6 - Check the account you want to send money from (on the bottom right corner). If you would like to change this, select the orange icon next to the account name.

Step 7 - Check and confirm the transaction

Step 8 - Enter your One Time PIN (OTP)

Method 2:

To send money using FNB Online Banking (from your Phonebook):

Step 1 - Log into Online Banking

Step 2 - Select the 'Send Money' tab

Step 3 - If there are no recipients saved in your Phonebook, select the '+Add' icon. Enter the name and cellphone number of the recipient and then select 'Add Recipient'. You can add up to 5 recipients at a time.

Step 4 - After selecting 'Send Money', enter the amount you would like to pay to a certain recipient.

Step 5 - Check the account you would like to send from (on the bottom right corner). If you would like to change this, select the orange icon next to the account name.

Step 6 - Select 'Send', then 'Confirm' and enter the One Time PIN (OTP) for this transaction

Step 2 - Select 'More Options'

Step 3 - Select 'Send or Receive Money'

Step 5 - Enter your date of birth. Read the terms and conditions and then select 'Proceed'

Step 6 - Enter the cellphone number you want to send money to and select 'Proceed'

Step 7 - Enter the amount you want to send and select 'Proceed'

Step 8 - Confirm that all the details are correct and select 'Proceed'

Remember to take your card before leaving the ATM.

How to receive a PIN to withdraw cash from an FNB ATM

You will receive an SMS advising that money has been sent to your cellphone. You will need to request an ATM PIN which will expire after 30 minutes. Please ensure that you are close to the FNB ATM (less than 30 minutes away) before proceeding with the following steps:

Step 1 - Dial *120*277# to access the eWallet

Step 2 - Select 'Get Cash' and you will receive an SMS with an ATM PIN

Step 3 - At the FNB ATM press the green button ('Enter'/ 'Proceed') on the keypad OR select 'Cardless Services'

Step 4 - Select 'eWallet Services'

Step 5 - Enter your cellphone number and select 'Proceed'

Step 6 - Enter the eWallet ATM PIN you requested and received via SMS

Step 7 - Choose the cash amount

Make sure that your transaction has ended or select 'Cancel' before leaving the ATM.

How to withdraw cash from an FNB ATM with your PIN

You received a Send Money SMS notification advising that money has been sent to your cellphone. The SMS will contain the PIN required to get cash at an FNB ATM. This PIN is valid for 4 hours. If the PIN expires before you withdraw the cash, please follow the instructions on how to receive a PIN to withdraw cash from an FNB ATM.

Step 1 - At the FNB ATM press the green button ('Enter'/ 'Proceed') on the keypad OR select 'Cardless Services'

Step 2 - Select 'eWallet Services'

Step 3 - Enter your cellphone number and select 'Proceed'

Step 4 - Enter the eWallet ATM PIN you requested and received via SMS

Step 5 - Choose the cash amount

Make sure that your transaction has ended or select 'Cancel' before leaving the ATM.
