Qualifying criteria

  • You need to be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid FNB transactional account or an FNB Home Loan

 

Transporter

The FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Transporter has been developed for clients with vehicle risk, whether that risk comprises one heavy commercial vehicle or an entire fleet or combined vehicle fleets, such as:

  • Trucks (heavy and medium commercial vehicles)
  • Trailers
  • Special types (yellow/green goods)
  • Private motor and light delivery vehicles
  • Buses (passenger transport)
  • Goods in transit (restricted cover)

Fleet owners of commuter buses, and owner/operators, are the driving forces behind this agreement. We offer cover at agreed values and cater for buses of up to 65 seats.

 

Classics and collectibles

This multi-car participation agreement incorporates the same benefits as a regular participation agreement at very affordable contributions. It is suited to owners of more than three classic or collectible cars.

 

Motorcycles

This participation agreement is designed for both on- and off-road motorcycles and quad bikes. Cover is offered on a stand-alone basis.

 

Short and medium haul

The FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Short and Medium Haul product offering provides cover to transport operators who do not exceed a limited radius for any one trip. It is for both truck and trailer vehicles and fleets.

 

Driving schools

This participation agreement covers driving schools for all types of vehicles:

  • Heavy and medium commercial vehicles
  • Light delivery vehicles
  • Private motor vehicles

 

Concrete mixers

This FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Concrete Mixers product offering has been designed for clients who require specific cover relating to ready-mix concrete vehicles.

 

Clay brick

The FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Clay Brick product offering was meticulously designed to protect operators who exclusively transport clay bricks. The rating model is designed for separate contributions and excesses applicable to the truck and crane industry.

 

Transporter excess reducer

Our Transporter Excess Reducer is offered together with other FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Specialised Motor product offerings in cases where the transporter sees the benefit of paying additional contributions to reduce excesses to nil or to a more affordable rate. The FNB Insurance Brokers Takaful Specialised Motor product offering has several add-on product offerings available to you on request.
