What you'll be paying

Here's an overview of the fees you'll be paying with an FNBy Account.

Monthly account fee

R2 per withdrawal, regardless of the amount

Cash withdrawals and cash deposits

R500 per month at no charge; thereafter, standard fees apply

 

Qualifying criteria

Parent / Guardian:

  1. Must be a South African citizen, foreign national or non-resident
  2. Must be a FirstRand customer
  3. Must be registered for digital banking

Child:

  1. Must be 17 years or younger
  2. Must be a South African citizen or foreign national
  3. Must reside within South African borders

 

Documents required

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, and have:

  • A copy of a parent/guardian's valid South African identity document
  • The child's unabridged birth certificate or a valid South African identity document
  • Proof of residence (not older than 3 months) and a signed declaration proof of residence form per child

  • The FNBy Account is linked to a parent/guardian's FNB Banking Profile
  • Get a personalised FNBy Bank Card for your child
